Tuition & Fees

_____ Materials |  The student may either elect to purchase all materials or rent the materials from the studio.  The annual $25.00 non-refundable registration fee is usually enough to cover the rental cost of lesson books, recitals, and any other supplies for the whole year for most students; however, if it is not enough the student/parent is expected to cover additional costs.  If the student elects to purchase the books instead of renting them from the studio, that will be an additional cost.

_____ Tuition and Payment | Private lesson tuition is priced at $15.00 per lesson and varies from month to month according to the number of lesson days in each month.  Students have the option of paying tuition in one of the two following methods. 

(1)   In monthly installments.  Payments are due at the 1^st lesson of each month. 

(2)   Or, in one large installment for an entire semester.  Payments are due the 1^st lesson in September, the 1^st lesson in January, or the 1^st lesson in May.  

Payments may be mailed (postmarked by the 1st) or given to me at a lesson.  Late payments will incur a late fee of $1 for each day late.  If a lesson which has been paid for is canceled ahead of time by teacher or student, I will either issue a refund or transfer those funds toward a future lesson, according to the student’s preference.  However, if a lesson is skipped by the student a refund will not be issued.  The student may try to schedule a makeup lesson in this case.  As the teacher, I reserve the right to raise tuition or fees at the beginning of each new semester.
